Starmaps 2016

Exhibited at Sawtooth ARI, Launceston, Tasmania

Lines of Site is an exhibition by the artists involved in the art project associated with the archaeological dig at Kerry Lodge in Launceston, Tasmania.
Starmaps is the work I contributed to this exhibition.

The patterns of the pegs and string that marked out the dig at the archaeological site suggested the pattern in the night sky above the site, constellating in Starmaps.
As above so below.
Star maps are an ancient form used by indigenous Australians for millennia to navigate across country at night.
